Assignment Duration: Immediate start after clearance - long term ongoing contract

Hours: Day shift Monday - Friday

The Quality Engineer will enjoy a stimulating working environment, they shall support product and process compliance aligned to customer and industry requirements

Job Description:

• Experience as a Quality Engineer in the aerospace sector.
• Experience of working to AS9100 Rev. D
• Interpret technical drawings/ process specifications/design specifications.
• Verify and authorise First Article Inspection Reports, AS9102.
• Experience of EASA/CAA/FAA regulations.
• Knowledge of authoring quality plans.
• Knowledge of Certificate of Conformity/ Release to Service requirements.
• Knowledge of concession process within aerospace sector.
• Facilitate internal and external audits of company systems and procedures to ensure compliance and follow up actions through to resolution.
• Knowledge & experience of Root Cause Corrective Action techniques.
• Proficient in Microsoft outlook, excel, word and power point packages.
• Capability to utilise various communication media to articulate complex technical data to a cross section of non-subject matter experts.
• Drive standardisation on processes along with waste elimination and continuous improvement.
• Working on NPI products and supplier quality development, implementing new processes.
• Resolve customer issues in a timely manner.
