Quality Inspector (Aviation)

Location: Portsmouth

Assignment Duration: Immediate start after clearance - long term ongoing contract

Hours: Day shift Monday - Friday

Job Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quality Engineer based in Portsmouth. We are looking to hire an experienced Quality Engineer with an extensive background in the following:-

• Aerospace sector experience.
• Interpret technical drawings/ process specifications/design specifications.
• Produce First Article Inspection Reports
• Inspection & Verification of physical components & assemblies to technical data.
• Digital Electronic Measuring & Mapping techniques
• Fuel Tank System & Materials
• Support a cross functional team of Design Engineers/Manufacturing Engineers/Production Personnel.
• Capability to utilise various communication media to articulate complex technical data to a cross section of non-subject matter experts.
• Knowledge & experience of Root Cause Corrective Action techniques.
• EASA/CAA/FAA regulations
• ERP System (such as SAP)
• Knowledge of interpreting quality plans
• Knowledge of Certificate of Conformity/ Release to Service requirements.
